Mark McCumber's WHITE DRAGON MARTIAL ARTS has classes and curriculum specifically designed for children starting at the

age of 4 yrs. old

                    Dr. Mark McCumber Is Your Lil Dragons Instructor

We have developed this special program to provide children with the   

        following benefits:

• The emphasis of our Program is on establishing Discipline and Courtesy in the child.  The structure of respect is built into the Martial Arts instruction.

• The Program builds Confidence and Character by providing the Child with control over his or her body and an ability to stand up to peer pressure and other intimidating situations.

• The Movement of Martial Arts develops Coordination and increased Strength and Flexibility, which is important during the growing years.  Our belt ranking system allows Children to learn how to set goals.  With each new rank their sense of Achievement and Accomplishment increases. Training for each belt level enhances the Child's ability to Concentrate. This is an excellent reinforcement of study techniques for school.

• Martial Arts instruction also involves free-style competition. This helps to develop a sense of fair play in a controlled environment.

• The foundation of Martial Arts is it's Self-Defense values. We teach children not to abuse their Martial Arts Training. Where and when Martial Arts is appropriate. The result is a Self-Confident child, who does not need to show off or bully other children.

• Student will learn Confidence, Self-Discipline and Self-Control as they learn how to act and react to the world around them.

• Our young students are treated with Respect and are taught to return that Respect to others.

• We believe in Praise, Encouragement and Positive Reinforcement. 

• We have Incentives for good Academics Reports Cards. 

WDMA has given my son Cole more confidence in everyday activities. He has become more flexible and balanced too. At home, he has become more responsible for cleaning up after himself and taking care of his needs. he's gained more respect for adults. He also made new friends ( Another Family )!!!  Mr. McCumber has given me the tools to help my son become more responsible at home. The tools help me and my son Cole stay on track every week. We learn to take care of our 'work', help others and 'play'. The WDMA instructors are involved!!! All the instructors have been involved in Cole's progress. They take the time to work with him every class. They instill confidence and motivate him. They are all wonderful!!!! Thank you!!!

Since Our Daughter Has Been Involved With WDMA She Has Been Able To Focus More On Activities Like Writing, Sounding Out Letters / Word, And Coloring. Even At B-Day Parties Renee is Focused And Receives Compliments On How Still She Sits And Her Superb Posture. As A Mom It Is A Great Feeling To Know My Daughter Is Benefiting From The Program. It Is Rewarding to See Renee's Smile When She Earns A New Belt Or  Learns A New Punch Or Kick. Mr. McCumber Has Helped Renee Build Self-Confidence In Her Abilities. He Has Also Provided Her With Ways To Show Respect To Others. The Assistant Instructors ( John, Zack, Shannon And Rebecca,) Are Great Too!

 I Would Highly Recommend WDMA To Anyone With Young Children. The Life Skills They Learn Are Ones The Children Will Continue To Build On While Becoming Outstanding Individuals. Thank You Mr. McCumber And W.D.M.A.
